Duane Eddy was born in Corning, New York on April 26, 1938 and lived here until age 5 ...and then moved 20 minutes west to Bath until age 9...then a little north to Penn Yan until he was 12 years old ...when his family moved to Arizona, where as a teen, he started performing, developed his unique "twang" style of guitar playing, met producer Lee Hazlewood, and the rest is rock'n'roll history.
